Blending part by part and mashups need songs split into parts, and measured. Get the stem splitter in The Alchemist › Splitting, and let it split ahead of time (while charging is kindest to your battery). Songs with a loose, live beat also get gentler blends.

It sets how adventurous the Alchemist is: from smooth crossfades, through blends and mashups, to "Let the Alchemist cook!" past Full mashups, where it mashes, scratches and plays with effects and samples all the time.

Yes. In Now Playing, switch the mix from Alchemist to Manual: every part of every song gets its own slider, and the turntables take a hand (drag to scratch, hold to brake, flick back to backspin).

Use Event mode (The Alchemist › Event mode) to plan a set and record it to a file in your music, or save a set the Alchemist played under Your mixes.

Splitting songs is the hardest work a phone does. Set splitting ahead to "While charging", and see Settings › What's using the battery for what's busy and tips. A brain on the phone uses more too; a smaller one, or none, helps.

Android 10 or newer. Features a phone can't run are switched off rather than slowing everything down.

No. The Alchemist mixes by its own rules. A brain (an AI model) can choose among the best options, explain itself in words and answer what you ask for. It can run on your phone, your computer (Ollama or LM Studio), or a cloud service with your own key.
