Download Alchemist Music

The music player with an AI DJ that mixes the songs on your phone, live. Free, with no account.

The first public release is almost ready. The download appears right here the day it's out.

Installing it

Alchemist Music comes straight from this site rather than an app store, so Android asks you once to allow it.

1. Tap Download the app on this page. Your browser may ask whether to keep the file: choose Download.
2. Open the downloaded file. If Android says your browser isn't allowed to install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
3. Tap Install, then Open. A short welcome tour sets everything up the way you like it.

Already have it? Downloading a newer version and opening it installs it over the old one, keeping everything you've set up.

What's new

• Let the Alchemist cook: past Full mashups, mashes back to back, scratches, effects, a sound kit and samples all through the set.
• Turntables on Now Playing while the Alchemist mixes, with scratch, brake and backspin by hand, and a blend slider to bring the next song in yourself.
• Event mode: plan a set, play it any time, and record the whole mix to a file.
• Ingredients, song suggestions and a Recommended sort.
• Better beat tracking for reggaeton and other syncopated music, and longer battery life while mixing.
